Phase Steps           (Owner)
1. Ship Gatekeeper to Campus
1.1 Campus provides IP address to CENIC (Campus)
1.2 CENIC configures GK (preliminary) (CENIC)
1.3 CENIC ships GK to campus (CENIC)
2. Install Gatekeeper
2.1 Identify physical space and power (Campus)
2.2 Configure campus firewall (Campus)
2.3 Install GK (Campus)
2.4 Alert CENIC that GK is ready for final config (email kstack@cenic.org) (Campus)
2.5 Confirm list of subnets to include in zone (Campus)
2.6 Install final GK configuration (CENIC)
3. Test Gatekeeper
3.1 Configure CODEC to register with GK (Campus)
3.2 Assign 4-digit dialing plan identifier to CODEC (Campus)
3.3 Connect to CENIC test site (Campus)
4. Interim Scheduling and Cutover Preparation
4.1 Identify a primary scheduling contact person (Campus)
4.2 Scheduler will contact CENIC via web form, email or phone for scheduling (Campus)
4.3 Identify potential cutover dates (i.e., days with no scheduled videoconferences) and coordinate with CENIC (Campus)
4.4 Provide CENIC with dial strings of campus CODECs (Campus)
4.5 Update new schedular software with new campus dial strings (CENIC)
 
5. Cutover
5.1 Reprogram and test each CODEC (Campus)
5.2 Test scheduling of conferences (CENIC)
5.3 Remove campus room information from old scheduler (CENIC)
 
6. Final Scheduling Plan
6.1 Attend scheduling training provided by CENIC (Campus)
6.2 Campus resumes self-scheduling (Campus)
